Bringing our Army Past into our Fashion Future

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I hope you all have a fun, safe night and enjoy feeling like a kid again:) So yesterday I decided to bust out my BDU jacket that I got tailored. Yes, I know- total slug move, but when it looks cute why not rock it! A few people asked to see full body pics so I figured I'd give a little post about it (consider yourself lucky since I don't like taking pics of myself!).

Since it is a pretty masculine jacket, I paired it with black leggings, black knee high boots, and a bright pink lip to make it flirty and girlie. Ashley and I encourage all our Army ladies to do the same with their jackets and post on our facebook! Who cares what anyone says...WE DON'T!

  

NYC For A FUN Weekend!

Ashley flew into NYC this weekend after some business in Dallas to work and celebrate my birthday. We had such a blast, as always! We started Saturday morning at Magnolia's Bakery with some DELISH treats (recommend going there!) then headed over to our Trunk Show at Bloomies 59th Street.

We had our great sales rep, Alicia relieve us half way through the day so we could head over to our meeting about some new, exciting SV opportunities. We are looking forward to working on some of these possibilities and know it will take SV to the NEXT level:)

We then fell in love with some of the cutest French Bulldog puppies in the world. We begged Ashley's husband all weekend to get us one, but couldn't convince him enough:( We even named the little guy Winston! I'm confident that soon we will add another pup to the SV family and Millie and Stella can have a brother and another cousin! 

We ended Saturday night with an awesome Birthday dinner at  a quaint Italian restaurant and back to Magnolia's Bakery for some desert haha! We were quite the chunksters that day;) Then made the decision to get out of town and head to VA early! We hope you are all safe up North!

Hey!! We had so much Sunday shooting our fall campaign. It's so tempting to leak a pic to show everyone, but we're trying to wait until we get them from the photographer- an iphone doesn't do it justice. We had the best team on set- Kyle on hair, Joel as our make-up artist, Lanny as an art director, Michelle styling, and Whalen the amazing photographer! We totally were freaked out about modeling our own jewelry, but I think we worked it;)

sv hits 5th Ave with Henri Bendel Trunk Show

We just wrapped up our 3 day event at Henri Bendel and had such a great trunk show! It's so much fun talking to customers about our line and meeting the Henri Bendel team as well as other designers. Overall, we had a GREAT showing, awesome feedback, and a good amount of sales! The buyers will hopefully ask us back for another trunk show and if all goes well with those our goal is to permanently be in Henri Bendel one day:)

Thank you to all our friends and family that came out and supported us. We are so grateful for all the opportunities coming our way. It's a ton of hard work, but well worth it:)
