plan plan plan!

So lately it seems like all we do is plan for our upcoming events at Bloomingdale's and Henri Bendel, but it is so fun! It's like Christmas every day as we get shipments of different things coming in. Yesterday we received our new custom boxes which we love (little stupid things excite us) and on Monday we got more displays and crystals for our new designs in production. Nothing is better than getting our fall samples for the first time though! Yes, we couldn't help is and wanted to give you a sneak peak at a few of our new designs!! We are so excited for everything coming up in June and hopefully great things come after that;)

Oscar themed party

WOW--what an event! This Oscar themed party was amazing and our favorite part...stella valle was in the gift bags for the guests! Everything was done top notch...red carpet, step and repeat, ice louge, make-up artist, caricature, servers, photo booth, and the list goes on! Enjoy a few pics from the party...more to come:)

friday finds

Ashley is headed to the Maldives in the Indian Ocean today...I am so jealous, but she promised me to come up with some really great new ideas/designs for our new collection. I can't wait to see what she comes back with:) A few of our Fall designs arrived this morning and they are even better in person than I could have imagined. We can't wait to show you, but have a few changes to make first before we unveil the final designs. Plus it is our fall collection so we don't want to show you too early! They will be available to purchase at our Bloomingdale's trunk show June 13th & 14th and at our Henri Bendel trunk show June 22-24th so hopefully you can make that!

FRIDAY FINDS!

It's suppose to be a beautiful weekend so we have some Friday finds to get you into that perfect weather mindset. sv is my Olympics

I wanted to share a truly inspirational story to me in hopes that maybe it can spark just one of you to follow your dreams. Growing up I always wanted to be an Olympic swimmer, but with a bad shoulder injury I never got that chance. Now stella valle is that Olympic dream of mine.  I grew up practicing in the same lane every day and racing against Rebecca Soni now an Olympic Champion. Rebecca's story pushes me to be better at what I do every day with our company. Swim in your own lane isn't just about being in the pool, it relates to everyone in all aspects of life. Don't worry about what others are doing or saying, don't worry about the things you can't control-"be true to yourself to figure out the way." Watch this great little video!

Design Entrepreneurs NYC Program at FIT

On Friday I got such exciting news!! I was one of 35 selected out of 165 applicants to a free mini MBA program at FIT for Design Entrepreneurs to learn from top fashion executives and experts how to run a successful fashion label! The program kicks off at the Andrew Marc Showroom on May 24th with the President of FIT and the President of GIII- Apparel. I will learn the ins and outs of running stella valle from FIT faculty members and industry veterans covering topics in fashion business marketing, operations, and financial management. At the end of the program I will create a business plan and pitch it to a panel of influential industry leaders for feedback and advice. 

I couldn't be more excited to learn how to grow stella valle to its highest potential from the most successful people in the fashion industry. The connections and networking opportunity couldn't be more perfect either! I feel so blessed right now!!
